Missions Week 1-3
Missions: Local
Serving locally means loving the people right in front of us. It’s being present in our neighbourhoods, schools, workplaces, and sporting fields. It’s noticing practical needs and responding with generosity. It’s building relationships, not just running events.
We believe local mission is about showing the heart of Jesus in everyday life, through hospitality, compassion, encouragement, and practical support. When we serve our community, we are planting seeds of hope close to home and helping people experience faith in tangible ways.
Missions: National
Serving our nation means lifting our eyes beyond our immediate surroundings and caring about the spiritual and practical wellbeing of our country. It’s partnering with churches and organisations across Australia, supporting church planting, leadership development, and communities in need.
We believe God cares about every city and region, from coastal towns to remote communities. To serve nationally is to invest in the future of the Church across Australia, strengthening leaders, supporting families, and contributing to a culture shaped by faith, integrity, and compassion.
Missions: International
Serving internationally means recognising that the Church is global. We are part of something far bigger than ourselves, a worldwide family united in Christ.
It’s supporting mission work, resourcing communities, and standing with believers in different cultures and contexts. It’s praying, giving, and sometimes going. When we serve globally, we participate in God’s work across nations, helping bring hope, dignity, and the message of Jesus to people around the world.
